Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009: a paradigm shift
Microsoft has spoken to more than 22,000 users and looked over their shoulder to find out which tasks they do daily and how they navigate through an ERP solution. As a result of this study Microsoft now understands, that every user needs a tailor-made desktop. Following these results, 2009 saw the release of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, the first ERP solution tailor-made for the specific needs and business processes of individual employees within a single company.
The role based User Experience with the agiles industry solutions
The focus is now on the user, there are tailor-made roles for different users.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 RTC (Role Tailored Client) offers 21 standard roles. We have adapted these roles for our users within particular industries (food trading and non-food trading).
For example the agilesFood industry solution comes with the role "Operative Purchaser". This role provides the user with a complete and comprehensive view of all necessary information in one view. This role allows the user to view items which are required to be purchased, the current "real time" stock levels, any outstanding vendor orders and also the Workflow to-do's for which the user is responsible for, all from one desktop.
In conjunction with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, and our add-ons agilesFood, agilesTrade, and agilesWorkflow, we are able to provide a simple solution in order to view user specific information and to-do's on a single desktop.
Through the new possibilities to provide informations and relevant tasks to the user, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, agilesFood or agilesTrade with agilesWorkflow melt.
